Kirsten Lepore is an L.A.-based director and animator, and a CalArts alumna. She was the Animation Director on the A24 feature 'Marcel the Shell with Shoes On', which was nominated for an Oscar, aGolden Globe and won Best Animated Picture honors from the Critics’ Choice Awards, the National Board of Review, and the New York Film Critics Circle.
Previously, her viral short 'Hi Stranger' garnered over 200 million views online, and her stop-motion episode of 'Adventure Time' won both a 2016 Emmy and an Annie Award. She has also created work for clients including Google, MTV, Mini Cooper, Silk, Skippy, Nestlé, and many more.
Kirsten is the writer and director of Marvel Studios’ 'I Am Groot' series for Disney+, further showcasing her unique storytelling and animation expertise.
