Dorian & Daniel are a Berlin- and Vancouver-based directing duo who met in film school. Dubbed the 'Spec Ad Masters' by Adweek, they first gained widespread attention for their spec ad 'Dear Brother' for Johnnie Walker. To date, the film has amassed over 20 million views, won numerous awards, and kickstarted their careers.
More than a decade after first meeting, they have worked with major brands and agencies around the world, using their two brains and four eyes to craft poetic stories. Their strong cinematic approach results in work that is both visually striking and emotionally engaging.
Dorian & Daniel have won awards across the globe at all major international advertising festivals. Their work for Samsung alone earned five D&AD Pencils (including one Yellow), one Gold and three Silver CLIOs, and two Gold and one Silver Lion at Cannes—among them the first Gold Film Lion awarded to Germany in nine years.
Their work demonstrates a comprehensive and instinctive understanding of the craft, with a level of maturity far beyond their years.
