@dw.findlay Vimeo’s Breakout Creator of 2022 and a Silver winner at the SHOTS Awards for New Director of the Year, David Findlay is a filmmaker from Quebec City, Canada. His work focuses on the earnest study of human behaviour and is known for seamlessly straddling the line between fiction and documentary through a highly cinematic and empathetic lens.
In addition to winning Silver at both Cannes YDA and Ciclope, he has been shortlisted for the D&AD Next Director Award and was a finalist for the One Club’s Young Guns. Alongside numerous Vimeo Staff Picks, David’s films have screened at leading international festivals, including the Berlinale and TIFF.
