Max Millies came to be known and loved 15 years ago as an agency creative. While he was a text creative director with agencies such as Jung von Matt, Mother, and BBDO New York, he began directing in 2012 and won a Cannes Lion with his first spot for True Fruits.
Today Max works solely as a director in Berlin and New York. His films are characterised by his taste-proof, non-German humor and writing style, as well as his strict but stylish eye for casting and awesome imagery. With work for clients such as Smart, True Fruits and Sparkasse, Max has won over 50 international awards. Including 9 Cannes Lions, 2 D&AD Pencils and 16 ADC Nails.
