Bio

Nick is a natural storyteller with a reputation for highly cinematic, innovative and emotive work across film, television, commercials and music videos. Commercially, he humanises brands by bringing a sense of drama and passion, working with clients including, Barclays, Mailchimp, Intel, Google, Nike, YouTube, Facebook, Stella Artois, The National Lottery, Dr Martens and FedEx.

Nick’s work has been nominated at the Grammy Awards and MTV MVAs, and has won a host of awards across advertising, film and TV, including a prestigious Grierson award for Channel 4 documentary ‘Payday’. His latest feature film, ‘Rudeboy’ will be released in autumn 2019 and was described by the Hollywood Reporter as “a visually slick celebratory affair… this love letter to one of Britain’s first multicultural pop movements is an effortlessly enjoyable viewing experience with a rich, sunny, consistent uplifting soundtrack.” The documentary has been screened at more than 30 film festivals, including a world premiere at BFI London Film Festival, US premiere at DOC NYC, IDFA, CPH:DOX, Doc N Roll and In:Edit, and winning multiple awards.

A native of South Auckland, New Zealand, Pete completed his studies at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, where he graduated with honours. Since expanding into commercial work, Pete has crafted innovative campaigns for high profile clients including Budweiser, Royal Bank of Canada, Macy’s, Carlsberg, and Microsoft ZUNE.

Bio

The daughter of a Welsh steel worker and a Manchester stay at home mom, nobody could have seen Kathi becoming a director. She developed her aptitude for art and technology, when, fresh out of high school, she traveled the globe as a model, spending more time watching the director than striking a pose. She cut her teeth as an art director, following that up as a visual FX and brand designer garnering her a BDA gold and a Grammy nomination for Moby’s 'Play' long-form video. Her first commercial shoot was a 10-day AT&T campaign.

Kathi's work is personal, organic and technically savvy, which makes it powerfully compelling. She has not only terrific range as a director, but also an uncanny eye for where media trends are going. Her most recent contribution to Venus was shot on multiple platforms for social media. This year Kathi returned to her roots in VFX, directing a stunning piece for MEDG and new technology. Intelligent, nimble, creative and aware, she is one of the new breed of directors who feast on culture and technology.

James’ career started with a bang; his first ever TV Commercial for The Vegetarian Society featured in the D&AD book. His ability to deliver pitch perfect comedy work has been winning acclaim ever since, including British Arrows, Cannes Lions and a D&AD Pencil. His client list includes Walmart, Best Buy, McDonald's, Toyota, Subway and Sprint.

Bio

Gudmundur is an awarded Icelandic director based in Denmark. After graduating from Icelandic Art Academy in Fine Art, he moved to Denmark and studied screenwriting. His short films and feature debuts have been selected for more than 200 festivals and have won over 100 international awards.

His hauntingly beautiful short Whale Valley (2013) about the bond of two brothers received a Cannes Film Festival Special Mention and a nomination for the European Film Awards. Gudmundur developed and wrote his first feature Heartstone (2017) a very personal story about two boys coming of age in a small Icelandic fishing village during a Cannes Cinefondation, a Paris residency programme.
